1. NHSP Annual Reports

Each year the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme in England publishes information in its annual report, which outlines key achievements and challenges experienced between the period 1st April and 31st March of the following year.

Each annual report explains the improvements made both at the programme centre and local sites during the period, and details how this contributed to on-going provision of safe, effective newborn hearing screening which delivers a positive patient experience.

2. Evaluation of the NHS Newborn Hearing Screening Programme

Evaluation of the NHS Newborn Hearing Screening Programme was to appraise the benefits, effects, costs and practical implications of the pilot implementation of the national model for newborn hearing screening. A number of recommendations are made for future policy and practice.

3. NHS Atlas of Variation

An atlas of variation showing graphical representations of the audiological assessment rates and time from referral to assessment by PCT.
