Christines areas of expertise and interest include assessment and habilitation of deaf infants within multidisciplinary teams and training and professional development in these areas.

Gwen was Deputy CEO at the National Deaf Childrens Society, for over 3 years, following 10 years as Head of Sensory Support Services in a Metropolitan Local Education Authority. She has been a consultant to the NHS Newborn Hearing Screening Programme for
Gwens areas of special interest include: support offered to families of deaf children during and following the diagnostic period; the development of Family friendly services; the promotion of Informed Choice; the impact of early information giving on the subsequent engagement of families with the services which exist to support them.

Wendy is responsible for directing the course leading to the mandatory qualification to teach deaf children. She is a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Educational Audiologist and has worked in a wide range of settings both nationally and internationally.
Wendys areas of special interest include: Deaf children with additional needs; Multiagency working; Use of the ESMP.
Research & Training Consultant
Amy has joined the NHSP training and consultancy team having previously worked on the implementation and evaluation of the MCHAS project and been the Head of Research at the National Deaf Childrens Society.
