28/3/13 Revised Guidance on ABR testing in babies v2.1 March 2013
A major revision of this document, which replaces the 2010 version

The Early Assessment guidance is also currently in the final stages of an extensive revision - likely release dat is now June/July 2013 (to coincide with new eSP release).

updated by Guy Lightfoot and Graham Sutton. We have simplified the form by removing the 'agree exactly' rows, added dropdowns for transducer, outcome and other required fields, combined the click column with CM, and made some modifications to the improvement indicator choices.

The eSP Guidance Manual for Audiologists is specifically for use by Audiologists who use eSP.     A one day course covering the entry of audiological data into the NHSP IT system eSP is run twice a year; see 'NHSP Team Training' for details.

 

3. ABR Peer Review

ABR QI Pilot projects . This project ran in East of England and Greater Manchester from June 2009 to May 2011. See full report. The results demonstrates the value of peer review in quality improvement. As a result we now have a clearer view of future peer review

This is a moderated forum to give audiologists the opportunity to contribute to discussions and post questions or problems, share information and ideas, raise points for discussion, and get advice from identified experts

6. NHSP Clinical Group

The NHSP Clinical Group develops and reviews clinical protocols & guidance for the Programme. We also have a remit to advise on other clinical policy and practice issues relating to the programme.

Current members are: Graham Sutton (Chairman), Sally Wood, Rachel Booth, Siobhan Brennan, Rachel Feirn (nee Foley), Guy Lightfoot, Rhys Meredith, Sally Minchom, Glynnis Parker, & Tony Sirimanna.
